Humberto Calvo has been an expert dog trainer for 20 years and a master dog groomer 25 years. He has a special connection with dogs, gaining his position of the local “dog whisperer”. He lives and breathes man’s best friend, installing values of loyalty, self-discipline, and kindness in both his dogs and his children. He’ll do anything to protect his family and believes that dog training and breeding are a learning experience, perfect for the whole family to participate in.
Carmen Calvo is Humberto’s right hand, always there for him and their children. She has been an elementary teacher for more than 20 years and regularly enjoys training and caring for the family’s dogs. She is both an excellent secretary and mother, supporting her kids on the road to their futures. She has always enjoyed the family aspect of dog showing and training; she believes it provides a solid foundation between everyone in the family and allows them to compete and engage in something they all enjoy together.
Brianna Calvo has been surrounded by dogs and animals since she was born. Animal care has always been her passion leading to her decision to become a veterinarian in her future. She enjoys training and raising dogs for shows and has competed several dogs in both confirmation and IGP shows. She believes that with her hard work and determination, even the largest of obstacles won’t get in her way. With this mindset, she has already made a plan for life after high school and plans to never forget the training principles and life lessons she has learned along the way.
Mark Calvo has owned and socialized with tons of dogs and animals throughout his early childhood and teenage years. He believes that dogs and the act of training them provides many unique experiences, friendships, and knowledge of lifelong value. Mark has competed in conformation shows with his family’s dogs and enjoys the excitement and competition of it all. He enjoys doing things with dogs even more when he can do it together with his family and exchange support and expertise amongst each other. Mark thinks that balance in life is necessary, and dogs provide examples of just that: work and play, train and rest, difficulty and reward.
